Release Emotional Weight by Detoxing your Organs

Emotions live in your body, not your mind.

Imagine your family member who gets angry when they drink or the friend who starts crying when they drink.

According to Chinese medicine, drinking causes anger because the liver stores and detoxes anger.

The healthier the liver, the better it is at detoxing irritation and annoyance. Healthy liver = easier to breathe through your clients annoying requests.

The more compromised the liver, the less likely it will detox the irritation quickly. Unhealthy liver = harder to breathe through annoyance.

This is why we might feel more emotional during our period or pregnancy. The liver is so busy processing the extra hormones that it doesn’t have time to process our emotions as efficiently.

You’re tracking right?

You can help your liver help you (and your patience) by feeding it well AND by detoxing I using EFT tapping.

Want to try?

Tap or massage the liver pressure point located on the underwire area directly below nipple line.

Tap and breathe for 60 seconds. Notice tenderness. Notice your jaw unwind.

Bravo.

You just detoxed your liver of some pent up anger and maybe even some toxins.

Get this.

All your organs detox specific emotions. This is according to Chinese medicine and EFT point theory that I cover in October’s level 1&2 training).

For example:

  • Lungs regulates grief.

  • Pericardium regulates loneliness and safety.

  • Bladder regukates shock.

Ever wonder why people pee their pants when they get scared? Now you know. Their bladder is compromised by the elevated emotion of shock.

Want to detox your organs?

Below you’ll find a list of:

  • EFT pressure point for each organ

  • The related emotions connected to each organ

🫶🏽Tap each pressure point to detox the major emotions associated with each organ:

  • Inner eye point: bladder = feeling stuck or in shock

  • Outer eye point: gallbladder = indecision or depression

  • Under eye point: stomach = nerves or anxiety

  • Under nose point: governing vessel = self criticism

  • Under lip point: central vessel = shame or guilt

  • Collarbone point: kidneys = resistance and inner conflict

  • Under arm point: spleen = insecurity or self doubt

  • Under nipple point: liver = anger and resentment

  • Wrist point: pericardium = unsupported, alone or guarded

  • Sore spot on chest (“armpit fat” area)3 lungs = grief and sadness

🙏🏼Which point feels best to you?

🥹Which one feels most tender?

My lung and liver point used to be SO tender. I have grief and traumatic loss in my background (and yes pent up anger about it).

Soreness is your body’s way of saying: Oooo; I need that. Can you keep going?

If you want to bookmark a video version of walking through each point on Instagram, check out my Tapping Point Reel below.

By tapping each point for a few minutes every day, you detox the organs, which supports the detox of each emotion.

🙏🏼Notice how you begin to feel lighter and more emotionally regulated the more you tap.

If you have a trauma history, it’s important to go gently into this practice as stored emotion can bubble up as thoughts or memories.

💧 Drink lots of water to support the detox and keep tapping.
