How to Manifest When Your Body Says No + Free 24-Hour Tapping Summit

Hey everyone!

It's been a while, and I'm reaching out because I just had the most inspiring conversation with Jean Monterestelli about an upcoming 24-hour tapping summit that raises money to provide mental health and emotional support to people in crisis around the world.

The conversation was so powerful that I want to share one key tapping exercise with you, plus how you can access tons of other tapping resources completely free.

When Your Body Says No

My interview topic was "How to Manifest When the Body Says No" – and I think you'll find this concept eye-opening.

You know how Gabor Maté talks about how we plow forward, saying yes when we mean no? We become the "yes girl" when we really need a break.

In my work, I've noticed something profound: There's a difference between knowing something in your head and your body actually knowing it.

For years, I said "I just want to heal my anxiety" and "I want to get to the root of my migraines." For 5 years, I tried to conceive my son (spoiler alert: I have two kids now), saying "I'll give anything, pay any specialist to get pregnant."

But when the body says no... is there a part of you that's saying no too?

The Teleporter Exercise

Here's what I discovered when I took that elevator out of my head, past my heart that was screaming "I want this baby," and down into a teleporter back to my past:

I asked myself: Does all of me feel safe having a son? Is any part of me hesitant, nervous, afraid of the risk or loss?

That teleporter took me back to little girl Jackie, who saw her mother lose her son. I watched my brother get killed in an accident, and some part of me was terrified of experiencing that kind of loss.

The breakthrough wasn't just understanding this intellectually – it was helping my body know that my story doesn't have to be my mother's story.

Try This Morning Practice

Grab a notebook and colored pen right now.

  1. Write something you're manifesting: "I really want _______"

  2. Write this question: "Does all of me feel ready, willing, and safe enough to go for this goal?"

  3. Notice any flutter in your belly, any resistance that comes up

  4. Now tap through the face points while saying this mantra:

"I really want this goal. But I'm ready to respect, acknowledge, and consider the parts of me that might not be so willing. Part of me really wants it, but part of me is afraid. And I'm willing to honor, acknowledge, and respect those parts of me today. I really want this goal – I want to plow forward with or without them – but for today, I'm willing to consider them, to respect them, and to acknowledge what they need to feel safe."

The Magic of Consideration

Just like with my 4-year-old when his toy gets "stolen" by his little brother – sometimes I don't need to solve the problem. I just turn and say, "Ugh, buddy! That's no fun! No one likes their toys stolen!" And suddenly he says, "That's fine. It's fine."

Consideration is the medicine.

When your parts feel considered instead of abandoned, you'll stop feeling like you're swimming upstream toward your goals. Instead, you'll feel like you're flowing downstream because all your parts are finally on board.
